Presentation at Tender Loving Kare (TLK) in Smyrna, DE; June 19,2009

In June, I was invited by my best friend, Melissa Schulte, to do a presentation about manners and bullying at the TLK summer camp. I was honored to have Mrs. Delaware US 2009, Marci Mc Nair, Mrs New Castle County 2010, Angie Hionis-Bell, and Mrs Dover 2009, Maurene Bullock and Maurene's daughter the Tri-State Cinderalla Teen in attendance.

Wednesday (May 20, 2009), I spoke to the FABULOUS 5th and 6th graders at Claymont Elementary School about table manners and etiquette. Joining me to speak about other etiquette topics were Mrs. Delaware US 2009, Marci McNair; Ms. Delaware US 2009, Trisha Tarantino; Mrs. Delaware Galaxy, Shana Williams; and Mrs. New Castle County DE US 2010, Angie Bell.

Thank you to Mrs. Mary Crowley for the invitation to speak at the school. We were all honored to be asked and really enjoyed our experience - the students were fabulous!!!!

"Go Red for Women" Luncheon - Philly June 5, 2009

On June the 5th, I had the honor of making an appearance and volunteering at the "Go Red for Women" Luncheon at the Park Hyatt Hotel at the Bellvue in Philadelphia, PA.

"Go Red for Women" is a national movement that celebrates the energy, passion, and power that women have to wipe out heart disease.

This luncheon was a fundraiser for the American Heart Association....and was also honoring the 2009 "Woman of Heart" receipient, Mary Stengel Austen. I was able to meet so many amazing women who dedicate their lives to fighting heart disease. I was also able to meet Renee Chenault-Fattah, co-anchor of NBC-10 News.
